Privacy policy

In short: this website sets no cookies, uses no tracking, stores nothing in your browser and loads nothing from third-party servers. The only processing of your data is what any web server technically needs to deliver a page, plus your own email if you write to me. This is a courtesy translation; the German Datenschutzerklärung is legally binding.

2. Server log data

When you open a page, your browser transmits your IP address, date and time, the requested address, the referring page, browser type and operating system. The hosting provider processes these data in its logs to deliver the page, secure operation and detect faults (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Logs are deleted automatically after a short period and are not combined with other data or analysed by me. Hosting: Mittwald CM Service GmbH & Co. KG, Espelkamp, Germany; servers in Germany; a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

3. No cookies, no tracking, no local storage

No cookies, no browser storage, no analytics, tracking or advertising services, no user profiles, and therefore no cookie banner.

4. Content and links

Fonts, images, videos and maps are served from our own server; no third-party content is embedded. Links to GetYourGuide (affiliate, labelled as advertising), site operators and sources only take effect when you click them; from then on the provider’s privacy policy applies.

5. Email

If you email me, I process your details to answer your enquiry and delete them once it is settled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

7. Changes

This policy applies from 25 September 2026 and will be updated before any change to the website that affects your data.
